.February

I think everyone will agree this is a grim time of the year. The cottages have been booked for some short breaks, and the Cotswolds have looked beautiful as ever on snowy, sunny days. I have had to take full advantage of these due to our new member of the family, Bertie, an enormous golden labrador now ten months old..who needs at least two walks a day. Reluctantly we have had to invest in an eletric shock collar forl lhim as he kept on goingoff into the village. We read that in wales you can be put into prison for using one. We do hate It but I think it has done the trick. Our latest bad news is that Bill has been in hospital for a lweek after a heart attack. he is miles better now having had a stent fitted.. But is still eating butter.! Hamish is still recovering after his colonoscopy anid patiently awaits next reversal op. annoyingly he now has rhumatism as a side effect .

On .a more cheerful note we are all so excited that Petra is expecting the baby any time now so we
Are all ready. At half term Auriol and Oliver ran a very sucessful art workshp for children of all ages . The project they worked on was inspired by the Aztecs and they all went home with great sculptures made out of clay. Also, at half term Kallum did a speech and drama four day workshop in Cheltenham called The Focus Theatre >www.playhousecheltenham.org which he really did enjoy.
The pottery classes for adults are going really well too. This is taking ages to write as I am using a new ipad. Calling off for the moment as this key ad takes ages!
